This icon was cut from his high school
team for someone taller. This only
made him work harder. He ended up
having a stellar high school career, and
went to the University of North
Carolina.
During tryouts, in the intrasquad blue
vs. white scrimmages, the coaches
were moving players around in search
of the right matchups.
The coaches began to notice
whichever team this freshman kid
Jordan played on, somehow found a
way to win.
This consummate young team player,
eventually earned his way into the
starting lineup and can be seen at
right hitting the winning shot for the
national championship.
The point is, one key to greatness is
not worrying about getting noticed but
consistently doing all the things it
takes to help the team win.
